Tripp has been a resident of Ward 2 since he moved to Rochester in 1996. He and his wife, Dawn, found Rochester to be a thriving place to live, work and raise a family. They put down roots and raised their family here. While holding various leadership positions at Mayo Clinic, Tripp has consistently served his community, both as a leader and as a volunteer. He is an authentic servant leader who enjoys working with others to solve problems, and also genuinely enjoys meeting new people as he volunteers for various community causes and events. Tripp believes in giving back, and doing what he can to make a difference in his community.

Raised on the East Coast, Tripp received his B.S. degree from James Madison University and his M.H.A. from Medical College of Virginia. He and his wife, Dawn, have three children, a dog and two cats and will be empty nesters this fall. Tripp enjoys traveling, tubing, running, watching the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota United, gardening, woodworking and hanging out with family and friends.
