Values to Action

Tripp Welch has been an integral part of the Rochester community for over 25 years, serving as a dedicated leader, volunteer, and advocate for Ward 2 residents. After moving to the city with his wife Dawn in 1996, they immediately put down roots, finding Rochester to be a thriving place to live, work, and raise their family.

Throughout his career at Mayo Clinic, Tripp has held various leadership positions that have allowed him to cultivate his skills as an authentic servant leader. He currently serves as the Administrative Leader of Values and Professionalism, upholding the institution's commitment to integrity, respect, and compassionate care. Tripp's contributions have been recognized through multiple awards for excellence in leadership, teamwork, and individual accomplishment.

Alongside his professional roles, Tripp has consistently devoted his time and energy to numerous community organizations and initiatives. His board experience includes leadership positions with the Rochester Airport Board, Rochester Rowing Club, Olmsted County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, Rochester Youth Soccer Association, Rochester Children's Museum, Rochester Art Center, and Childcare Resource and Referral.

But Tripp's impact extends far beyond boardrooms. He is a true believer in rolling up his sleeves and getting involved at the grassroots level. You'll find him volunteering for causes like litter clean-ups, school festivals, youth sports coaching, marathons, rowing regattas, and even participating in clinical trials as a research subject. Tripp's passion for service is unwavering, and he genuinely enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life.
